just about to write something really angry about the endless intellectualization (or whatever it is called) on drawing - theories and explanations - it all seems like its trying to validate itself for the Masters (painters!). Can the drawers and drawings have enough belief & pride within to stand up for themselves -as a way of expression without an endless philosophical justification?
As if this makes a difference to anything;
-PAINTING has been around since 1500s, but DRAWING has been a part of human life for as long as anyone can trace us... -wahtever! Maybe the cavemen DID believe and intend and seek to make PAINTINGS of those mamuths etc!??!!!!! Then what! Maybe the cave paintings WAS finnished pieces of ART, not just a droodle! oooooops! SO, let me draw in peace, will you?
