and I found some pretty red stones! I hope they can serve as oxides to smear my pots in with!!!
Too, I found that beautiful subtle purple in hard-clay-rocklike shape...
1) If I fire the clay-body pot to higher temp first,
2) THEN do a low temp fire with the oxides, the purple will stay purple
